Eric Millstein

Eric Millstein is acting assistant principal percussionist of the Lyric Opera of Chicago. He frequently performs with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and was principal percussionist and assistant principal timpanist of the Grant Park Music Festival from 2002-2019. Eric teaches percussion at both the DePaul University School of Music and the Curtis Institute of Music. He is author of The Little Book of Orchestral Percussion, which was published in 2020 by Pocket Publications.
