Lyric Opera Chorus

The Lyric Opera Chorus is one of the most distinguished ensembles of its kind in the world, renowned for the beauty of their sound, the thoroughness of their musicianship, their stylistic versatility, and their theatrical flair.

The Lyric Opera Chorus has been heard in the past few seasons in many operas that pose particularly formidable choral demands, such as Orphée et Eurydice, Les Troyens, Eugene Onegin, The Pearl Fishers, Faust, and Idomeneo.

Recent seasons have brought the Chorus collaborations with such eminent conductors as Lyric Opera music director Enrique Mazzola, Sir Andrew Davis, Marco Armiliato, Harry Bicket, James Gaffigan, and Emmanuel Villaume, and important directors including Tim Albery, Neil Armfield, Rob Ashford, Barbara Gaines, Richard Jones, Sir David McVicar, Kevin Newbury, Laurent Pelly, Graham Vick, and Francesca Zambello.
