About the Guild Board
The Guild Board of Directors was founded shortly after Lyric opened in 1954. Guild Board members serve as ambassadors for the Company to identify and cultivate new audiences and to raise funds. The Guild Board raises over $1.4 million annually to benefit Lyric through personal and solicited gifts and special events.

The Guild Board of Directors teamed up with Lyric Unlimited to present the inaugural Family Day at Lyric. Guild Board members volunteered in welcoming over 900 guests to the Lyric Opera House for this fun-filled day of behind-the-scenes demonstrations, activities, and performances for families to enjoy!
