Which moments did you find moving during our 2017/18 Season?

Opera has a distinct way of capturing our hearts. It awakens a passion in us — setting our souls aflame through gorgeous music, gripping drama, grand settings, and stunning performances. In short, opera moves us. As one of Lyric Opera of Chicago’s avid fans, you inspire us to continue producing this magnificent art form each year. And for that, we are so grateful.

Which moments did you find moving during our 2017/18 Season? Was it the enchanting grace of The Joffrey Ballet dancers in John Neumeier’s production of Orphée et Eurydice? Was it the heartwrenching betrayal that led to the poignant finale of Die Walküre? Was it Lawrence Brownlee’s and Albina Shagimuratova’s stratospheric arias in I Puritani that took your breath away? Or something else entirely?
