In the heart of summer, our Ryan Opera Center artists are hard at work bringing us joyful songs to keep our spirits high. In a new video from our Ryan Opera Center From Home series, recent baritone alumnus Christopher Kenney joins ROC Music Director Craig Terry to serenade us with the classic song “Daisy Bell,” better known as “Bicycle Built for Two,” written by Harry Dacre and later recorded by Nat King Cole.

Lyric Opera Orchestra members have been finding great ways to connect through music during the pandemic. One meaningful way is through Sharing Notes, a Chicago non-profit (est. 2012) that strives to improve quality of life for hospital patients through intimate and uplifting live performances.
