Lyric Family Favorites: July 24
Are you ready for Lawrence Brownlee & Friends: The Next Chapter, Lyric’s free virtual concert on Sunday 6:00 PM CDT? We are so excited to share these moving performances with you. This concert is the result of many weeks of detailed planning, hard work, and a few brilliant strokes of luck. For one of our performers, this meant catching the only flight from South Africa to the U.S. in the entire month of July. Get the full story of how first-year Ryan Opera Center Ensemble member tenor Lunga Eric Hallam made it here to participate in the concert. Plus, watch Rachel Willis-Sørensen sing “Or sai chi l’onore” from Don Giovanni, have fun finding out which Ring character you are, and watch the next installment of Music and Mind LIVE with Renée Fleming.
She wants revenge

Soprano Rachel Willis-Sørensen is arresting as Donna Anna in Act One of Don Giovanni, urging her fiancé, Don Ottavio (Ben Bliss), to avenge her father's murder. Watch her own the stage in this excellent clip from Lyric’s 2019 production.
Take the quiz and find out

Examining the impact of the arts and health on veterans
