Join us for an exclusive first look at the exciting new season in an intimate conversation with Lyric Opera General Director Anthony Freud and Music Director Sir Andrew Davis. Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine in the beautiful Ardis Krainik Theatre, hear season excerpts as performed by Ryan Opera Center Ensemble members, and receive first priority on subscription renewal as you learn about the operas, events, and stars that comprise our dazzling new season.

Beyond the Aria at Harris Theater
The Harris Theater's Beyond the Aria series offers audiences a one-night-only experience with some of the greatest operatic talents of our generation in an intimate, cabaret-style setting on the enclosed stage of the Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park. The next performance takes place on Friday, December 6, with appearances by Ryan Opera Center alumna Amanda Majeski and Matthew Rose (who star as Donna Elvira and Leporello in Lyric’s Don Giovanni this month), along with current Ryan Opera Center Ensemble member Kayleigh Decker and music director Craig Terry.

Save the Date: Ryan Opera Center Gala Festa di San Ryan
The Ryan Opera Center’s 5th annual fundraising event, Festa di San Ryan, will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at The Casino Club of Chicago. The gala is a participatory celebration of the love and vitality of the Ryan Opera Center. It will feature a thematic performance of operatic and popular music by Ensemble members with music director Craig Terry and renowned mezzo-soprano Elizabeth DeShong, an alumna who sings Pauline in The Queen of Spades this season, followed by an elegant seated dinner with our artists and special guests.
