The Fund for Lyric

Join us in making the magic of opera possible at Lyric.

As a nonprofit opera company, Lyric Opera of Chicago depends on charitable support to present the awe-inspiring performances that you see on our stage. We are incredibly grateful for our loyal family of donors whose generosity helps fund more than half of our annual operating needs.

As part of the overall rebranding effort that Lyric began in the fall, we are also reconceiving parts of our donor membership structure. We’re pleased to unveil The Fund for Lyric!

The Fund for Lyric comprises four general giving societies: 

• Friends of Lyric (who donate $50-$4,999 annually)

• Patrons of Lyric ($5,000-$24,999)

• Benefactors of Lyric ($25,000-$99,999) 

• Aria Society ($100,000 or more)

In thanks for your generosity to The Fund for Lyric, we offer an exciting menu of Donor Engagement Opportunities. With insight and feedback from our donors, we revise our Donor Engagement Opportunities each season with the aim of curating events that brings you closer to the art and artists that you support.
