Where will I be seated and when will I receive my tickets?

Lyric will assign the best available seats a few days before your performance and Print-At-Home tickets will be delivered to your inbox at that time.

May I exchange my NEXT Now series tickets?  
Yes, exchanges are possible via phone with at least 5 days notice; your new date must be valid for the NEXT Now series. Fees may apply.

Can I purchase additional tickets for my friends?

Yes, you can buy multiple seats per production as long as your guests are also full-time, degree-seeking college or graduate students.

Lyric University Ambassadors


Do you love promoting events, creating buzz, networking, and working for a cause you believe in?  Are you an innovative and organized university student in Illinois? 

If this sounds like you, apply to be part of the Lyric University Ambassadors team and be part of building the NEXT generation of opera lovers on your campus. 

Applications for the fall of 2015 are now closed. Please check back this summer to apply for the fall of 2016.

NEXT is a program for full-time, degree-seeking college students only. (Sorry, discount not valid for continuing ed, part-time, and high school students.) All NEXT ticket holders will be asked to show a valid college ID upon entering the theater.

Tickets are sold in advance; online purchases only. No rush tickets. Seat locations are assigned on a first-come, first-seated basis and cannot be changed after purchase.
