Our opera streaming option allows you to exchange your ticket for a virtual link that will grant you access to watch Tosca on your living room's big screen TV, Fire Shut Up in My Bones on a laptop in bed, or Proving Up on an iPhone anywhere you go.

How to purchase a Lyric Opera streaming ticket
Our live opera streaming option is offered as an alternative for ticket holders who are not comfortable returning to the theater or who want to experience Lyric from afar. Purchase any ticket to any production for any date, then contact audience services to let a representative know you want to exchange your ticket to a digital stream.

You will receive one viewing link per ticket via email starting approximately two weeks after the opening night of the opera.

Watch at your convenience, the stream will be available for a limited time until two weeks after the production closes.
On the fence? If you're not sure whether you want to attend in person or not, simply hold on to your ticket. If you don't show up for the performance we will automatically transfer your ticket for access to the virtual stream.

On demand streaming of each opera title will be available approximately two weeks after the opening night of the opera, and will be available until two weeks after the production closes, so that you may watch the performance from the comfort of your own home at your convenience.
You may either attend the performance in person, or watch the virtual stream performance. Each ticketholder must choose the way they wish to view their performance.
Those who exchange their ticket for a virtual performance will receive one viewing link per ticket via email. The email will come from the address [email protected] so if you do not see this email please be sure to check your spam folder. The primary ticket holder will receive a unique email with a dedicated viewing link for each ticket held, which may be forwarded to other members of your party.
Just as with the live performance, the stream of the opera may only be viewed once, so save your link for a time when you are ready to watch the show!
