65th Season Annual Meeting

Lyric’s Annual Meeting was held virtually on September 8, 2020 at 6 p.m. Thank you for joining General Director, President & CEO Anthony Freud, Chair David T. Ormesher, Chair-Elect Sylvia Neil and more special guests as we looked back on a tremendous year of musical excellence, community engagement, unprecedented challenges, and incredible support.

This meeting celebrated the presentation of the Carol Fox Award to Julie and Roger Baskes. The Carol Fox Award is given for lifetime achievement and dedication to Lyric Opera of Chicago.

The meeting also marked the passing of the torch from current Board Chair David T. Ormesher to Sylvia Neil as she begins her term at the helm of Lyric’s leadership.
