Lyric Opera of Chicago is pleased to present Lawrence Brownlee & Friends, an evening of songs presented by the renowned tenor and a roster of talented singers. The free film features a live performance in Lyric Opera’s Rice Grand Foyer and includes never-before-seen interviews with the performers involved.
This sold-out recital experience, following the success of similar programs in 2019 and 2020, will now be available to the widest possible audience. We hope you enjoy this original concert film, including bravura selections from Brownlee and, Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan Opera Center Music Director Craig Terry, as well as soprano Lisette Oropesa, mezzo-soprano Ronnita Miller, and baritone Laureano Quant (all fresh off Lyric’s triumphant Daughter of the Regiment), plus Ryan Opera Center tenor Travon D. Walker and bass-baritone Christopher Humbert Jr.
