Fidelio Opera Insights at Lyric

We invite you to a compelling panel discussion with the artists of Fidelio moderated by Lyric Unlimited Scholar-in-Residence, Dr. Antonio C. Cuyler. Fidelio Director Matthew Ozawa, Chorus Director and Head of Music Michael Black and members of the cast will discuss their journey of bringing to life Fidelio’s contemporary themes of justice, revolution, and liberation.

When: Wednesday, October 2 at 4:30 PM
Where: Civic Opera House, Ardis Krainik Theater

The discussion at Lyric will take place directly after the Wednesday October 2 matinee performance of Fidelio, within the theater, and is open to all Fidelio ticket holders. Those who are not attending the October 2 performance of Fidelio are invited to attend a pre-conversation reception with light refreshments in the Malott Room at 3:30 PM, and may then proceed to the theater following the matinee for the panel discussion from 4:30-5:30 PM.
