Lyric Opera of Chicago Great Choral Works
Lyric Opera of Chicago invites you to experience the beauty, joy, and power of the celebrated Lyric Opera Chorus in a concert of great choral works. You’ll hear operatic favorites from composers Bizet, Donizetti, and Verdi, plus some favorite spiritual and musical theater selections. Music Director Enrique Mazzola conducts, with pianist Noah Lindquist accompanying the program. Whether you know and love opera, are curious about opera and ready to give it a try for the first time, or simply love the human voice raised in song, this program featuring some of the best-loved choral works is sure to leave you wanting to hear more. Two community concerts take place at Wheaton College and Kehrein Center for the Performing Arts in Chicago.
