Opera beyond the stage

Engaging individuals from across Chicagoland through Lyric Unlimited!

Lyric Unlimited offers wide-ranging programs that extend beyond the opera house and expand Lyric's civic footprint—including work with and for specific communities, schools and teachers, as well as families, youth, and adults.

Nearly 100,000 people participate in Lyric Unlimited performances, learning programs, and engagement activities each season.

These collaborative initiatives seek to understand and respond to the needs and interests of communities throughout the city. Opera becomes a lens through which people can share and reflect their own experiences and creativity.
