Q. How many people do I need to place a group order?
A. The minimum number of tickets is 10 to receive group services.
Q. Do you have special rates for groups?
A. Yes! Groups of 10 or more receive special discounts at all opera and spring musical performances (see calendar). The final price is based on the day you attend and the number in your group.
Groups receive a complimentary ticket for every 20 tickets purchased. All groups pay a one-time $8 processing fee with each order.
Q. Do I have to pay when I order?
A. No. Just call 312.827.5927 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your group's seats. When we confirm ticket availability for your request, usually around July 1, a non-refundable 50% payment is due by August 31. For orders placed after August 31, your initial 50% payment is due within 10 days of confirmation. Your final payment is due 30 days before the performance.
Q. How can I get the best seats?
A. Order early for seating priority. Group orders are accepted beginning in February for the following season which runs from September to May. Group orders are filled ahead of all single-ticket orders and are seated immediately after our subscribers.
Q. Will my group be seated together?
A. Your seats will generally be together in the best available location in your price section. Special seating requests, such as an aisle seat, may be made when you place your order.
Q. What if I don't need all the tickets I have reserved? Can I adjust my order?
A. Yes! The size of your group may be increased if tickets are available or decreased prior to final payment. Keep in mind the ticket price is based on the number in your group; your final ticket count will determine your final price and discount. Once we receive your payment, all sales are final. If your order drops below 10 seats, seating priority cannot be guaranteed.
Q. What are the parking options if we come by bus?
A. Buses or cars may drop off passengers on Wacker Drive near Madison Street, just a few steps from the entrance doors. See the Your Visit section for nearby parking lots for cars and small vans.
