The Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan Opera Center 50th Anniversary Golden Celebrations

The 2024/25 Season marks the 50th Anniversary of the Ryan Opera Center, Lyric's world-renowned artist-development program. Commemorating the occasion are two Golden Celebrations: the Golden Gala in February and Rising Stars in Concert in April. 50th Anniversary sponsors receive benefits for both events.

The Golden Gala will feature a fabulously entertaining performance of operatic and popular music by Ryan Opera Center Ensemble Members, Music Director Craig Terry, and alum star tenor Matthew Polenzani.

The performance will be followed by an elegant seated dinner with artists and special guests.

Co-chaired by the 50th Anniversary Presenting and Lead Sponsors.

Golden Gala dress code: Cocktail attire. Guests are encouraged to wear gold in celebration of the Ryan Opera Center's 50th Anniversary.

This special edition annual showcase features the 2024/25 Ensemble performing with the Lyric Opera Orchestra, conducted by Music Director Enrique Mazzola and directed by Lyric's own Matthew Ozawa. More details will be announced at a later date.
