This season, we honor a beloved member of our family, Creative Consultant Renée Fleming, for the 25th Anniversary of her Lyric onstage debut! We’re counting down a few of her best Lyric moments in celebration... 

5. Performing the title role in Carlisle Floyd’s Susannah for her Lyric onstage debut in 1993. 

4. Curating Lyric’s world-premiere opera Bel Canto, based on the novel by Ann Patchett.

3. Fostering talent for the future of opera through masterclasses with members of The Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan Opera Center Ensemble.

…for the 25th Anniversary concert at the Lyric Opera House and post-concert gala at The Ritz-Carlton on Saturday, March 23, 2019. Featuring Lawrence Brownlee, Quinn Kelsey, Eric Owens, Sondra Radvanovsky, Christian Van Horn, artists from The Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan Opera Center, and the Lyric Opera Orchestra alongside Renée Fleming, this concert will be matched only by the fabulous gala, hosted by The Women’s Board and Chair Mrs. Lester Crown, following the performance. Dinner and dancing to The Stu Hirsch Orchestra in the Grand Ballroom of the newly remodeled Ritz-Carlton will perfectly complete the glamor of the evening. You do not want to miss this special event!
