Lyric Family Favorites: October 21
While the weather is cooling, activity at Lyric is heating up with Music Director Enrique Mazzola leading rehearsals for both Don Carlos and Le Comte Ory, opening November 9 and 13. We recently caught up with two of the stars of Don Carlos: soprano Rachel Willis-Sørensen, who made her Lyric debut as Donna Anna in Don Giovanni (2019/20), and tenor Joshua Guerrero, who triumphed as Macduff in Macbeth last season. See what they have to say about their favorite moment in the epic Verdi masterpiece.
Plus, learn more about tenor Lawrence Brownlee, see Quinn Kelsey perform as Carlo in Ernani, get tickets for the Lyric Young Professionals’ Halloween Masquerade, and mark your calendars for a new WFMT Recital featuring Lunga Eric Hallam.
